Beckmann+Egle
This driver supports the serial “Mini-Terminals” made by Beckmann+Egle:

With the upcoming 0.10 version of lcd4linux, the new CompactTerminals will be supported, too.

These controllers provide a lot of additional features, and my be extended with various modules:

With the current lcd4linux 0.9.11, only the following “!MultiTerminal” display types are supported and must be specified in the configuration with the Type key:
